The Wappa bento box is a traditional oval shaped bento box. Made of cedar wood, this lunch box is covered with a natural uroshi lacquer, which is compatible with food use. In Japan, wooden bento boxes are highly appreciated for their ability to perfectly preserve cooked rice. This is because the wood absorbs the excess of water from the rice, which allows to enjoy its full flavor, even when cold.
This wooden bento lunch box is very practical with its two levels. Once you finish your meal, it can be compactly stored in your bag. Its capacity of about 1000 ml is ideal to contain a good balanced meal.
