Tenugui Cloth – Chiba
Japanese Tenugui 100% cotton made with flowery landscape and Chiba temple
Whether for wiping dishes, wrapping gifts or decorating a wall, tenugui can be used for many purposes. This fine cotton towel is much appreciated in everyday use for its ability to dry very quickly. The print on this tenugui is inspired by Chiba prefecture, its flowers and temples. Framed or hung, it makes an attractive wall decoration.
For hanging, consider a wooden tenugui stand.
Note: tenugui is a strip of fine cotton fabric, usually measuring 34 by 90 cm. It has no folds or hems, so it dries quickly. If the edges of your tenugui start to fray, trim any protruding threads with a pair of scissors.
